Before we delve into “What is Addiction,” I’d like to ask the audience: Have you ever found yourself addicted to something? Often, the majority responds with either “I haven’t been addicted to anything” or “I’ve only been addicted to smoking, alcohol, or occasionally drugs.” In today’s society, there are various forms of addiction, highlighting the crucial need for recognition and management. While smoking and drug addiction are widely acknowledged, other forms such as sugar, smartphone, and caffeine addiction receive comparatively less attention. Through our addiction series animation, our goal is to heighten awareness about these diverse forms of addiction.

To underscore the gravity of addiction, I centered my efforts on crafting videos that specifically address smoking addiction and the relatively overlooked sugar addiction. Each video spans approximately 40 seconds, employing diverse animations and illustrations to visually articulate the message concerning addiction.
Furthermore, for caffeine addiction and smartphone addiction, I developed shorter videos lasting around 5 and 10 seconds respectively. This strategic choice aligns with the prevailing trend favoring short-form content, aiming to heighten viewer engagement and awareness regarding addiction matters
To emphasize the importance of addiction to viewers, I decided that creating videos with provocative imagery or illustrations meant to be viewed only once would not be helpful. Instead, I aimed to create videos that viewers would enjoy and find entertaining, prompting them to watch multiple times and naturally grasp the seriousness of addiction. Therefore, I utilized vibrant colors and witty characters rather than repulsive imagery or illustrations to produce the addiction series animation.
