Through the interview I chose, I designed different compositions. I needed to make the viewers realize the interviewer and the interviewee’s emotion, intonation, and expression while reading the typographic interview I had created.
Therefore, I needed to consider certain elements like time, space, sequence, texture,
tone, sound, volume, and emotion with some rules.
I considered this design based on a Harry Potter map. The design looks like a map that can track people’s
positions when the viewers open it. Harry was able to follow someone’s path when he opened the map, and he knew where the people on the map would go. Therefore, I used this concept to design my book.
The structure of my book is a pamphlet. The viewers can read each page and unfold all pages.
Each page interacts with the next page. After reading my book, the viewers can learn the interviewer’s background and how the interviewer can be a designer in New York.

I designed the interview in various layouts and continuously worked on the design to study which layout would be the most structurally effective and visually easy to read. Initially, I tried a curved layout, but it was difficult to read and hard to organize, so I changed to a straight layout. Additionally, I adjusted the font sizes to study a layout that had high readability.
